Whether you have decided to move to a different house in the same area or need to upsize, downsize, or somewhere in between, selling a home can be tricky! Often, selling a home is done around the same time as buying a home, making things doubly stressful. When you are trying to sell your home, I want to help you do it! I can make selling a home an easier process by highlighting all the good things about your current abode so that potential buyers can see them, too.
When highlighting the best parts of your current home, make sure that you do so with a professional like myself. If you are stuck or stressed, I can point you in the direction of some professionals who can help you with things like staging, organizing and even decluttering. Above all, however, make sure that you are selling a home that is clean with a capital “C”! A clean, tidy home will always show better and sell faster than one that is dirty and unorganized.
Another thing you can do when selling your home is to try and depersonalize it as much as possible. I’m not saying leave only bare walls, but instead, try hanging up neutral artwork rather than pictures of your family. It’s hard for buyers to picture themselves living in a home that is clearly someone else’s! Neutral paint colors can also be beneficial when applicable.
These are just a few of the things I’ve passed along to clients over the years when they are looking to sell a home. To learn more about selling your home, please call me today!
